- History of mathematics and related disciplines (mathematics education, logic) in non-Western cultural contexts, in particular, in China, Vietnam, and Russia;
- History of astronomy/astrology in non-Western cultural contexts, in particular, in China and Vietnam;
- History of interaction between science and religion (in particular, in China and Vietnam);
- Role of visualisation in transmission of scientific and pseudo-scientific knowledge.
