Course Information

  1. GE Core Courses
    • Complete at least one Core course from each of the four dimensions. Must complete at least four Core courses.
    • Each GE Core course is marked with its dimension under the course title (please click here to Division of Curriculum for details).
  1. GE Elective Courses
    • Open to student choice among the three major areas of Elective GE courses.
    • If taking artistic skill-based courses, only 2 credits at most can be counted as Elective GE Courses credits.
  1. Students must complete 20 credits from both Core GE and Elective GE.
  2. Students can only register three GE courses at most via the online course selection platform in each semester (including Core GE Courses).
  3. Students taking overloading GE credits must make a request of “extra selection” for course enrollment.

If attempting to take the 4th GE course in a given semester, please bring “Form for enrollment in courses with limit” to the course teacher. If the course teacher has agreed to extra selection, and it conforms to the GE Center’s regulation of extra selection, student can then proceed to Division of Curriculum for enrollment with the signed form without getting further approval from the GE office.
